San Juan Island House

San Juan Island House

This San Juan Island residence is really beginning to take shape.  What once was a modest log home that had a devastating house fire is becoming a sophisticated waterfront escape.

The elegant elevation facing the waterfront with the stone patio extending beyond the house.

The exterior cladding palette is cedar, copper flashing, natural stone, and black window sashes.

The roof is being prepped for a large solar panel array that will work in conjunction with additional sustainable strategies.

The contractor is prepping for the installation of two large custom windows positioned at the entry. You can also see the battered stone wall at the entry just beyond the log column.
