South Beach House Under Construction
Construction is underway on a BC&J house on the South Beach of Bainbridge Island.
When completed, this house will be 4,200 square feet with a 700 square foot studio above a two car garage.
The second floor of the two buildings are bridged by a sky terrace overlooking the waterfront. The stone clad intersection between the two buildings houses the laundry room and guest house below the sky terrace.
The stair core and master bedroom with a deck occupy the main tower, massing the house to the south.
Facing the waterfront on the first floor is a covered loggia for outdoor dining. Upstairs are decks for two additional bedrooms.
Completion is scheduled for early 2014.
